I began programming for the first time in 2019 when I was a freshman in college, and I quickly fell in love with it. As a child, I grew up using the computer on a daily basis, and I continue to find it fascinating while learning how the applications I grew up with are built.
My professional experience in the computer science field has been accumulated while working for AMS Workplace Technology as an Applications Engineer (Apr. 2024 - Present), and at ID Care both as an IT and Facilities Systems Analyst (Jan. 2024 - Apr. 2024) and as a Microsoft Power Platforms Developer (Jan. 2022 - Jan. 2024). I have also accumulated experience while working at Kean University as a Coding Tutor (May 2021- Dec. 2023).
My academic experience in the computer science field has been accumulated over the course of a 5-year B.S., M.S. program at Kean University, during which I developed many software projects. I decided to go to Kean University for my education because I was offered a full academic scholarship to go there.
My personal experience in the computer science field has been accumulated while developing different hobby projects, like this portfolio and several video games.
By working with the aforementioned company and University, I have developed many fundamental skills necessary to build efficient, working software.
I thoroughly enjoy learning how to correctly build systems to ensure scalability, security, and user-friendliness. I am a passion-driven programmer, and I keep up to date with the news of cutting-edge technology. I like to take my own free time to tinker with anything newly available, like ChatGPT and other machine learning software. I also like to combine my other passions with programming, like music production and gaming.
A personal/professional goal of mine is to continue growing intellectually, and to achieve this, I am seeking to work with a team that is made up of programmers as passionate as I am about their work.
Over the past four years, I have completed many projects both academic and personal in a lot of different coding languages, many of which were full-stack applications. I am most comfortable with PHP, JavaScript, SQL, and Python.
Along with programming languages, I've also learned how to build software using supplemental technologies:
My graduate capstone class at Kean University mandated that we did thorough documentation for our software project developed using DevOps, including but not limited to the following documents:
For this same project, I was the most familiar with GitHub version control out of my team members, so I proactively designed a GitHub tutorial document for them.
I have built cloud-hosted applications that run in Docker containers (see Projects).
I have worked extensively with both Microsoft Windows and Unix/Linux/Mac based systems, both clients and servers.
I have experience integrating GitHub Workflows with cloud-hosted applications on Microsoft Azure and Heroku.
